a day off continued... my date with TYLER LITTLEJOHN

after a much needed day off i took a long bath, blow dryed my hair, and transformed myself for my hott date with tyler littlejohn. tyler picked me up from barnes & noble from there we went to the olive garden where we enjoyed bread sticks with white cheese sauce and salad to begin our meal. while eating my salad my fork flew out of my hand. we called it flying forks. we both ate pasta he went steak i went chicken. we talked and laughed, just like we always do. i told him that i baked him muffins - however, i managed to eat all six of them today! ooops. there goes my new year's resolution! he is a perfect gentleman. he is a door opener which really means something these days. i felt like i was in a movie. my night ended with a caramel machiato from starbucks and tyler then walked me to my car where we made out. (that's a joke if you haven't figured that out already) he's a 10.

a day off

sometimes it is hard to find myself away from the jewelry store. what i would do with all that extra time? well, today was free from work and school. if i had more money i would have a day to play. however, i find myself baking blueberry muffins and licking the batter off the spoon. i am doing laundry and unloading the dishwasher and dancing around the apartment as i listen to pandora radio. all of these things have to be done, especially the dancing around part. :)

i woke up at about lunch time and i met courtney and justin at johnnie's drive in, a staple in tupelo, known for their famous dough burgers and of course elvis presley. it is always nice to do lunch.

tonight, i have a hott date with tyler littlejohn. i am very excited! he is taking me to the olive garden.

i will blog about it when i get in tonight. until then, happy blogging!

you've got mail

what a classic. i had the honor of watching this movie with an old friend tonight. listening to the click of my own type reminds me of the beautiful clicking in this 90s film. movies seem to have lost their goodness. it is almost as if they have run out of fresh ideas. movies are just spins off of another person's originality. everything just gets lost and people forget where they have stored their creativity.

courtney came in from seattle tonight and i was so glad to see her. we caught up and chatted about life for a while. the aroma of chocolate chip cookies filled the two bedroom apartment. after a few weeks of distance i have had time to re-cooperate from a semester of 24/7 living with someone. i am ready for this new semester. we will have our late night dance parties and raid each others closets once again. courtney, if you are reading this, i want my pearls back. i am excited about the encouragement and growth in Christ with my roomie as the new year begins.

thomas came over and ate a couple of cookies and chatted with courtney and myself. i hope that i can go to seattle with courtney in the spring.

new years resolutions continued - save money for air fare.

a new ali

I found myself in Barnes & Noble this afternoon with Cameron, Ben, and Spencer. I met some cool cats and then I watched a movie with Peeping Thomas.
