Saturday January 23rd

A Special Day of 49’s
The distinguished aroma of corndogs overflowed from Proud Larry's into the air of Oxford’s square. We walked and talked as we window shopped. We were drawn into Southside Art Gallery like oppositely charged magnets. We discussed art and literature... how mature. Until we saw Holly's Sweet Tooth! Our eyes got big and our stomachs even bigger as we became amazed, like children in a candy store. (literally) Such a variety of every type of candy sorted by color and taste, jelly beans of every means! I knew I shouldn’t have worn my skinny jeans! A line formed out the door... we could not wait for ice creams made of every child’s dreams. Days are quick! The suns in and then it’s out... Like a flame on a candle wick. Winding down the afternoon, I was delighted with good company and a cup of welch's sparkling grape juice as we chatted with Charles Vesey and Louis Lane. Pajamas and re-run soap operas – seems like an evening complete! When Pam awakes birthday cards with drawings of birthday cakes waits! I love all of these things that make for a weekend with the Littlejohn’s!
